.mt and .com.mt Domains
Registering a Maltese domain goes through NIC-MT and requires a bit of paperwork — only the domain owner can register it. We cannot do this on your behalf, but we will guide you through it step by step.
Once your domain is registered, simply point it to our nameservers and everything else is handled automatically.

Where are your servers located?
Our servers are in Helsinki, Finland, in a Tier-3 Hetzner data centre. That gives Malta visitors a round-trip latency of around 60–70 ms — faster than most hosts that claim to be “Malta-based” but actually resell US or German shared hosting. The data centre is 100 % powered by renewable energy and has 24/7 on-site engineers.
Do you support Maltese .mt domain names?
Yes. We can register, renew and manage .mt and .com.mt domains through NIC-MT on your behalf, and we point them at your hosting for you. If you already own a .mt domain we can transfer the DNS without any downtime.
What is included in every hosting plan?
Every MaltaCode hosting plan includes a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate, daily off-site backups kept for 30 days, LiteSpeed full-page caching, Redis object cache, free email accounts, malware scanning, and unmetered bandwidth. There are no “starter” gotchas — SSL and backups are not paid add-ons.
Can I migrate my existing WordPress site to MaltaCode?
Yes — free of charge. We do the full migration for you: files, database, emails, DNS cutover, SSL, the lot. Most sites are moved in under 24 hours with zero downtime. You only need to give us read-only access to your current host, or an export from a migration plugin.
Do you provide email hosting too?
Yes. Every plan comes with unlimited mailboxes, IMAP/SMTP, webmail (Roundcube), spam filtering and DKIM/SPF/DMARC pre-configured so your mail actually lands in inboxes. If you prefer Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 we’ll set up the MX records for you instead.
What happens if my site goes down at midnight?
You call or WhatsApp the same number you’ve always had. There is no support ticket queue, no Tier-1 script, no chatbot. Dick is the developer, the host and the support desk — one person, one phone, one accountable answer. Critical incidents get a response within minutes, day or night.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
